Dr. Michael Hunzeker is the Director of TSM. Dr. Hunzeker is an associate professor at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government, where he is also the Director of the Program Faculty in Government and International Affairs, the Associate Director of the Schar School’s Center for Security Policy Studies, and a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments.
Jonathan Walberg is the Associate Director of TSM. He is currently a Political Science PhD student at the University of Virginia. Jonathan’s research focuses on China’s use of disinformation and narrative warfare. Prior to beginning at UVA, Jonathan completed a master’s in International Security at GMU and was a fellow for the Center for Security Policy Studies, where he designed and facilitated wargames.
Noah Reed is the Research Director of TSM. A junior majoring in Government and International Politics, Noah’s research focuses on the organization and doctrine of the PLA and ROCA.
Ethan Connell is a Research Team Lead at TSM. Ethan is a graduating senior studying Government and International Relations at George Mason University. Ethan’s research focuses on Taiwanese naval procurement and Philippine military modernization, as well as operating TSM’s open-source surface/subsurface fleet tracker.
Joe O’Connor is a Research Team Lead at TSM. Joe is a junior majoring in International Security and Law at GMU. Joe’s research focuses on US arms sales to Taiwan, as well as Japanese policy in the Indo-Pacific.
