Taiwan Security Monitor is student-powered, meaning that much of the mapping and analysis work done is by undergraduate students. Many of these students are studying International Affairs, Political Science, International Security and Law, as well as some that study Data Analysis, Intelligence, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese. Our student researchers are skilled in conducting open source research, as well as having experience using a variety of satellite imagery, mapping, and data visualization software.
