
Yuster Yu
Strategic Advisor
Yuster Yu is a retired Taiwanese naval officer and security expert who is the co-founder of Dimatis and senior advisor at the iScann Group and Total SE of Malaysia. He previously served on Taiwan’s National Security Council and as a naval attaché to the United States. He holds degrees from the Virginia Military Institute and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and has published extensive commentary on Taiwan’s defense and security environment.

Mark Christopher

Mark Christopher is a China and Taiwan security analyst with more than twenty years of experience working in corporate intelligence and strategic risk advisory consulting. He currently advises corporate, nonprofit, and government clients on U.S.-China-Taiwan risk. He is co-author, with Michael A. Hunzeker, of America’s Taiwan Dilemma: Allies’ Reactions and the Stakes for US Reputation. Mark holds degrees from Georgetown University and Princeton University and completed language study and research fellowships at Peking University, Nanjing University, and National Chengchi University.

Raymond Kuo

Dr. Raymond Kuo is the Vice President of Research for Geostrategy and Diplomacy as well as the Marshall M. Bouton Senior Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Previously, Dr. Kuo served as the inaugural director of the Taiwan Policy Initiative and a senior political scientist at RAND. Specializing in US-China competition, alliance dynamics, and regional order in the Indo-Pacific, Dr. Kuo’s books include Following the Leader, on military alliances, and Contests of Initiative, on China’s maritime gray zone strategy. His work has appeared in International Security, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, Foreign Affairs, and The National Interest, among other publications. Dr. Kuo holds a PhD in politics from Princeton University.
