Taiwan’s Army recently completed the inaugural “CTC 2.0” rotation, a new-style Combat Training Center exercise that expanded combat readiness evaluations from 5 days and 4 nights to 10 days and 9 nights of continuous, unscripted operations. Involving the 542nd, 584th, and 586th Combined Arms Brigades, the drills were designed to stress endurance, logistics, command decision-making, and combined arms coordination under more realistic battlefield conditions.
