
Joe O’Connor is a senior and master’s candidate at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government, studying International Security and Law and is an Honors College student. Joe is a Research Team Lead at TSM, focused on collating and maintaining the Taiwan Arms Backlog, as well as publishing the Weekly Taiwan Arms Tracker. While at Mason, Joe has researched critical civilian and military infrastructure in Taiwan, Japanese security policy in the Indo-Pacific, US arms sales to Taiwan, and US military policy in the Indo-Pacific. Professionally, Joe has worked for the Global Terrorism Trends and Analysis Center (GTTAC) at George Mason, a project formerly funded by the U.S. Department of State focused on collecting incidents of terrorism. When not researching, Joe can be found watching his beloved Buffalo Bills, doing competitive trivia, or watching movies.
